Drawer front frame parts cut, mitered and drilled for 1/4" dowel.

Closer look at dowel holes also the rabbet for the inset panel.

Pegs cut, 1/4" dowels cut to 3/4" long and slightly chamfered.

7-3/4" drawer front frame in glue clamps.

Close look at mitered joints.   You can see the rabbets for the inset panel.

Top drawer front frame in glue clamps.   I had to use a different method go clamp these, they wouldn't fit in my regular pic frame clamp.

I'm making 8" wide handles (pulls) for these drawers.   I will mark and drill screw holes in the bottoms, and insert wall board screws.

Drawer handles being painted.   You can see the wall board screws in the bottom, the screws are 6" apart.   The wall board screws will go from inside the drawer throught the drawer front and into the handle.   They will help hold the drawer front against the drawer while the glue sets.

Drawer front inset panels being primed.

Closer look at drawer front inset panel being primed, notice I left a 1/4" wide band of raw wood around the edge for gluing.   Next I'll paint the primed areas with hi-gloss.

After final paint here the inset panels are being glued into the frames.

Biscuit slots cut into main drawer frame and lower drawer front frame.

Glue applied to drawer frame and into biscuit slots.

Biscuit tapped in.

Glue on top of the biscuits.

Drawer front applied and clamped to drawer.   You can see the holes for the drawe pull are already drilled.

Drawer front handle screwed on and a two extra clamps, helps to hold the inset panel to drawer frame while the glue sets.
