Twin Bed Drawers
|
10/29/16: Page Origin
We decided the queen bed in the corner bedroom was way too large for the space, so I set out to design and build a single twin with storage under it.
The Twin mattresses we found were 37-1/2" wide by 75" long.
The frame's 75-1/2" length, with two interim support frames, will require 3 drawers, each 24-1/2" wide and 12-1/4" high.
That leaves a little space above/below and side to side for each drawer.
The drawers will have a picture frame front but will be flush with the bed frame instead of overlap.
Each drawer front will have a pine inset panel with a 1" wide frame around it.

Notice, some of the knots are gone, we'll have to do something about that.
