Betty and I decided to try the towel bars with Tilt Out Bins in the front bath to make it look a little bit nicer, along with new tile, and texture instead of wallpaper.
The tilt bins help with organization.
The towel bar on the West wall would be 34" long and replace the existing shelf set I built years ago.
The towel bar on the South wall (where light switches are) will replace two shelves and a towel bar.
The bins are 8" high and 8" wide in front, 5" deep, and 5-3/4" high in back.
They are made of 3/16" plywood, mitered at back corners and 3 bottom sides.
Except for the height they are the same as the back bath towel bars/tilt bins.
The background for these pages is a pic of our Santa Fe Knockdown texture in the bathrooms.

Lumber for both towel bars.
You can see a half sheet of 3/16" plywood leaning against the clamp rack for the bins.

Table saw set up to crosscut all the frame pieces.

All the frame pieces cut out and the sides (foreground) have had their front edges rounded.
The 1x8 in the back will be for the bin fronts.

Support bar (top) beveled at 45°, bottom shelf (middle) grooved for bins, and top shelf (bottom) cut to len.
On the right is one of the side pieces with top corner rounded.

One of the sides, marked for the 5/8" dowel bar blind hole, and bottom shelf position.

Frame side slotted for shelf and blind drilled for 5/8" towel bar.
Shelves slotted for #10 biscuits.

Support bar being glued to West towel bar.
The West towel bar is long enough to cross two stude (and there are two in the wall where it goes) so it only has one support bar.
Also notice the stop blocks are glued on.

|
Two support bars being glued to South towel bar.
This bar isn't wide enough to cross two studs so it will have two support bars with screws into a single stud.

End of South towel bar, hole cut for switches.

Closer look at stop blocks glued to West bar.

You can see the switch hole on the far side, and stop blocks for the bins under the top shelf.
