My Router Table History
My original router table was an old Rockler table I modified for the Porter Cable 3-1/4HP router.
I use the Rockeler fence and dust collection port and made a dust collection box around the router with a 2" dust collector hose.
In later years I upgraded the Rockler router table and fence, then, in 2018 moved the whole thing from the fixed mount on the bench to a roll-around table with a 4" dust collector hose.
Please look here for more on the router table dust collection and my new router table.

My router table, as I normally use it. You can see the upper dust port in the center and at the rear of the shot. |

Here is the bench with the router table removed, so you can see the top of the dust collection router box. Note, at the back of the bench is the upper dust collection port and valve. |

The power switch at the front of the bench, gets it's power from my Festool CT-22. |

A different view from the right side. Also shows a little better look at the upper dust port and it's cut off (red circle). The dust collector blast gate controls both the upper and lower dust ports. Please look here for more on the router table dust collection. |

The power switch, just below the front lip of the router table. This switch gets it's power from the Festool CT-22, so when the router is turned on so is the dust collector. |

Here is the dust port I made, it was the original router fence dust port with one of the attachment ears removed and glued/screwed to a small piece of 1/2" birch plywood that has a tee bolt. |

The final assembly of the fence, it's right angle slider, and a dust port. |

A wider shot of the router table with the Incra Precision Positioner, it's fence and dust port. |
