Crosscut Sled Extension
|
04/30/16: Page Origin
After using the sled I decided to make an extension so I could use a stop block for cutting longer pieces instead of marking each one.
I cut a 40" piece of 1x4 and cut a 3/4" by 3/8" groove for a tee track.
Under the tee track I counter bored and drilled two holes for tee bolts to attach to the existing sled face.

Extension attached, you can see the two tee knobs holding the extension to the sled's face.

Set up to cut a 20" piece off a 8' 1x4 using the extension, stop block, and the skate on the work bench.
