I ran across some interesting ideas on DarbinOrvar.com.   This young lady (Linn) is a wood worker with a limited amount of space who has some very good ideas.   She has numerous videos on youtube.com.  

I watched her description of making a crosscut sled followed by a box joint jig using the sled, then drew these diagrams (still in work).
