For years I have had a remote fob hanging from the ceiling to control the 6" DC.
The FOB hung at avery convenient location.
When I automated the system, I had a data terminal to control it which I wanted to be just as convenietnly placed.
So I came up with this ceiling support.
After building it, I thoght it would be handy to be able to point it in different directions, so I ordered a 4" lazy susan bearing.
I'm going to cut the support just above the data terminal angled shelf, glue a piece of 3/16&qout; plywood to each piece and screw the lazy susan bearing to both.
The data term's LCD (2004) doesn't have a large up/down viewing angle and it sits at a 45° angle to it's base.
So I angled it so it would be visible when I was standing before it.

Now I can turn it so I can see or use it from any tool position.
