This spindle table was purchased by my grandparents, second hand, right after they were married in 1911 (as their first piece of furniture).
The radio used to sit on this table, at my grandparents, when I was a little boy.
I remember listening to Edward R. Murrow broadcasting from London right after WWW-II, no one had TVs in those days.
I also remember listening to Sky King, The Shadow, Suspense, The Lone Ranger, and many others on it.
I used it as an end table in my den for a while, the top was a little high but I liked the middle shelf.
