My old dumb phone died recently, and Betty and I decided to try (again) a smart phone. We use Consumer Cellular service and I got a Samsung Galaxy A20, which seems to work OK, but it is way more complicated than my DORO was. It does things I don't need but it does make and receive calls which is what I do need.
After I had it for a few days, I realized I would need some way to carry it other than my shirt pocket. I don't do like most of the folks today, I like my hands free, not having to hold my cell phone. So I got out some leather and cut out then sewed up a holster for the phone. Next, I went to the shop and manufactured an belt clip for it, similar to the others I had.

The clip sewn on the cell phone holster. I know its ugly, but it works great. Sorry, I didn't make any pics while I was making either of these. |

I know the leather work isn't great, so look at the clip. I wanted the phone up high so it wouldn't ride up when I sit down. |

I'm sitting down, phone stays right where I want it. I really should have made the flap longer so I could make it stay down. |
